How Clicks are Counted
When a user visits lootbazaar.net/l/{shortCode}, the server-side redirect route performs two actions simultaneously: increments the clicks_count column in the publisher_links table for that record, then redirects the user to the stored tracking_url.
What Counts as a Click?
- ✅ User opens the link in a browser
- ✅ User opens the link in Telegram inline browser
- ✅ WhatsApp link preview click
- ❌ Link preview generation (bots are typically filtered)
- ❌ Your own test clicks (these still count — be aware)
Clicks vs Conversions
Clicks show how many people tapped your link. Conversions (orders) show how many actually purchased. Your conversion rate = Orders ÷ Clicks × 100. A good affiliate conversion rate for deal-sharing is 1–3%.
